Prosecco DalDin wins the podium in Falstaff, the leading food and wine tourism magazine in German-speaking countries.

Falstaff is an elegant magazine for bon vivants and a leader in the food and wine tourism sector in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), which provides a total circulation of 140,000 copies per edition.

Even this year, Falstaff organised an important thematic tasting format, the Falstaff Prosecco Trophy 2020. This tasting was carried out by the professional sommeliers Simon Staffler and Kiem Othmar, who evaluated the Prosecco D.O.C. by making a selection of the best wines of the denomination.

Our Prosecco MESAI Extra Dry won the PODIUM with a  2nd place and the maximum score of 92 points among many other products tasted under the Prosecco DOC denomination.


“Bright straw yellow colour with a persistent perlage. At the nose, it expresses hints of cut green pear, elderflower and lemon juice. On the palate it is balanced, light and round with a very fine perlage and a well-dosed sweetness that creates a long finish”.


A sparkling wine produced from Glera grapes rigorously harvested and selected by hand from the vineyards owned by DalDin in the locality of Vidor, whose hilly area has recently been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The quality of the terroir, the constant exposure to the sun, together with the knowledge of the winemaker and our oenological and sparkling wine techniques allow us to produce a high quality product even for the Prosecco D.O.C. MESAI Treviso selection.

The sparkling wine is made by a second fermentation in autoclave for more than 60 days (twice the minimum 30 days allowed) at controlled temperature and with selected yeasts, according to the Charmat Method. This careful and accurate production allows us to obtain a high quality product.

It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, white meat and also as an aperitif.
